Chindōgu

A concept by Japanese designer Kenji Kawakami focuses on humorous, impractical inventions that critique consumer culture. Following ten principles, these creations are not for real use, cannot be sold or patented, and must avoid taboo and prejudice. The project emphasizes creating absurd solutions in Kawakami’s subversive style, highlighting commentary on our overpopulated consumerist world.
